Physical characteristics

Modern inkjet Fabric is usually made of cotton or linen, although historically it was made from hemp. It differs from other heavy cotton fabrics, such as denim, in being plain weave rather than twill weave.

Application:

1.Different areas including its use as a painting surface, in making of aprons, banners, fashion hand bags, sails, backpacks, tents, bags and many more.

2.Generally used in photo studio background, specially stage background.

 Can I wash the inkjet fabric sheets?
Yes you can, you cannot wash the peel and stick cotton but all the others are fine to wash. It is better to wash them with care in luke warm water. The iron-on cotton can be machine washed at a low temperature.

Can I make them more hardwearing?
Yes you could spray them with 'Scotch Guard' if you require more protection from the elements.

Can you dry clean them?
Yes you can dry clean them but they might loose a small amount of colour.

If you have problems putting them through your printer
This is a very rare problem but you can change your printer settings to card or thick paper, this should raise the heads of the printer and make them easier to feed through. You can also iron them just before you put them through the printer. Some printers have a back feed which you can use as well, this means it prints through flat.

What is the quality of the fabric really like?
All the fabrics are very good quality and we try to get the best fabrics as possible. The silk, linen and voile are the best quality you can get they are not a look-a-like type of fabric they are the real thing.

How easy is the fabric to sew?
We always ensure with the manufacturers that the fabrics are soft enough to hand sew; some fabric sheets can be very hard and difficult to get a needle through.

Will the edges fray?
Yes the edges will fray over time because they are real fabrics. The iron-on cotton has fewer tendencies to fray after it has been ironed onto the garment.
